Customer Service Representatives (CSR) are the first point of contact for customers; either by greeting them upon arrival, answering their questions, assisting them with their purchases, explaining the store policies or directing them to a specialist for more indepth assistance.
  1. CSR's are required to be polite and maintain their poise even when confronted with an irate customer.  If a situation escalates beyond their control, CSR's will immediately contact a manager for assistance.
  2. All CSR's interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products or services and to handle and resolve complaints.
  3. CSR's handle general questions and complaints within their area of expertise (Prefab, Discount, Platinum).
  4. Many customer inquiries involve routine questions and requests. In some cases, CSR's are required to follow up with an individual customer until a question is answered or an issue is resolved.
  5. CSR's help people decide what types of products or services would best suit their needs.  CSR's need to be knowledgeable of all the products and policies of their area (prim counts, home sizes, service request processing, etc).
  6. While CSR's will gain expertise in their particular area (Prefab, Discount or Platinum), they will be required to have knowledge of all areas of the business.
